Simple Rasmalai Cake – Eggless Rasmalai Cake
Rasmalai Cake is a  beautiful fusion cake where East meets West wonderfully. It’s a fusion of western cake with Indian sweet Rasmalai.

Till now we have been adapting each other’s recipes but with such fusion cakes, it is like beautifully embracing each other.

Several years ago, I came across the concept of a Ras Malai Cake.  Ras Malai is a desst from India, that consists of flattened cheese balls that are soaked in a creamy cardamom infused milk syrup.

The concept of the fusion style cake is in so much trend these days.

I didn’t wanted to make a regular Rasmalai cake when one of my friend asked me to bake one for his wife’s birthday. I thought for a while on what design I should go for! Meanwhile this friend messaged me and asked if I can make a heart shape cake or some heart design on the cake. Then I came up with this.

  • 1 cup non dairy whipping cream
  • Few drops of Rasmalai Essence
  • Rasmalai milk
  • Few Rasmalai pieces
  • Chocolate glaze 
  • Few drop of red food color
  • Sliver sprinklers
