Before we go any further, I feel like there should be a disclaimer because I am not a painter, nor would I consider myself great at drawing. I wanted to create something with free hand.

But with this tutorial I want you to know that even if you don’t think of yourself as artistic either, you too can paint a cake.

I cannot get enough of this hand painted cake trend, they are absolutely beautiful. I recently caught the hand painted cake bug. And I’m loving it.

Let’s quickly check out the ingredients we need

Two 6’inch cake (I used red velvet cake)
1+1/2 cup whipped cream
1/2 cup cream cheese (at room temperature)
1/4 cup powdered sugar
Few drops of cream cheese essence ( optional)
Sugar syrup(1 cup water mixed with 6 tbsp of sugar)
Few drops of red food color

Broad brush
Scraper

I have tried Amazon gift card as scarper for many cakes and gives me super perfect edges. I know it’s tough to accept, but do try and you will believe in what I’m saying.
