Authentically rabdi is made with large amount of milk which is cooked on low flame for hours to reduce it to half and is then seasoned with sugar, desired dry fruits and lot of saffron. Due to it’s long process and time constraint many of us avoid making it. But you don’t have to worry anymore about the long procedure, time it takes, because this ready to make rabdi premix is the quick fix for the authentic rabdi. Isn’t it easy than what you thought off making a rabdi. Here are the list of ingredients you need to make this rabdi premix

Ingredients

1 cup milk powder
1/4 cup sugar
4 cardamom pods
2 tablespoon cornflour
Few saffron strabds
Pinch of citric acid
Few chopped dry fruits

That’s it. See I told you it’s the easiest way to make the rabdi you can ever think no off.

Instructions:

  1. In a large mixing bowl add milk powder and sugar
  2. Then add all the other ingredients including the dry fruits
  3. You may want to chop the dry fruits before putting in the premix
Now let’s make the rabdi from the premix we made
 
 

Ingredients

1 cup rabdi premix
1/2 liter of milk
 

Instructions to make the rabdi

  1. Heat half liter of milk
  2. Add one cup of rabdi premix when milk is warm
  3. Cook the milk on medium to low flame, stirring continuously till you get desired consistency
  4. Add addtioaddi dry fruits if you wish to
  5. Rabdi with rabdi premix is ready
  6. Keep in fridge to cool down and then serve

Note:

  • You can doulbd the quantity of premix by doubling the amount of all the ingredients used in premix
  • Store this premix in an airtight container up to 2 months at room temperature
  • You can keep the premix in fridge upto 6 months
